Doing field work is not always simple. Extreme weather, cold, wind en dirty nests. Ross is retrieving geolocators from goose nests which are infested by fleas. This nest is particularly infested. The eggs are full of fea faeces which is actually goose blood. When the logger is out of the nest, the data are retrieved with a computer. | |
