Er zijn heel wat paartjes van noordse sternen aan het baltsen in het dorp. op de foto hierboven zie je een stern met een geolocator en een gele ring met unieke afleesbare inscriptie. Baltsen betekent dat de mannetjes met grote vissen aan komen vliegen voor de vrouwtjes
