The airplane of Janwillem needs three apporaches before it can land in the upcoming fog. After his arrival, the fog thickens even more. But Janwillem has made it. |

On Monday, Lise Fivez leaves for Longyearbyen and 5 people arrive. We are a big team now and we took a photo on top of the snow in front of the station.

Thomas Oudman arrived one day later than planned. His plane could not leave from Longyearbyen.
But now, we are with three people at the station. From left to right: Thomas Oudman, Lise Fivez and Maarten Loonen.

Lise Fivez from the University of Antwerp arrived three days ago, but is unable to work on the tundra because of the snow.
Now, she is helping me with counting geese.
